Dr. Margaret Wieser
Dr. Margaret Wieser is a Wisconsin native, having grown up in the small, central Wisconsin town of Iola. After graduating as valedictorian of her high school class, Dr. Wieser attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point where she earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Dr. Wieser’s interest in dentistry was sparked when her husband required extensive dental work after a hockey accident, and she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
Upon graduation in 2015, Dr. Wieser and her family returned home to Wisconsin where she began practicing dentistry in Evansville, Wisconsin. Dr. Wieser joined Dr. Kathy Giswold and the Monona Dental team in early 2020.
Dr. Wieser enjoys working as part of a team to help patients achieve healthy smiles. Seeing the transformation in a patient who overcomes a dental phobia while under her care is especially gratifying. Dr. Wieser enjoys seeing patients of all ages and tailoring a comprehensive plan to each individual.
When she’s not in the office making patients smile, Dr. Wieser serves as a chauffeur for her two young children, Norah and Henrik. She and her family enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing, biking, and playing with their English Labrador. Dr. Wieser has recently tried to cultivate a love for gardening and while not always successful, she finds it very therapeutic.
Dr. Wieser is a member of the ADA, WDA, and Dane County Dental Association.
I appreciate the excellent care I receive at Monona Dental from the time I step through the door until I return home. Everyone is competent, professional, and very caring.
